Bright Harbor Raises $10.1M Seed to Build the Disaster Operating System
We’re proud to share that Bright Harbor has raised a $10.1 million seed round, co-led by Congruent Ventures and Lowercarbon Capital, with participation from leading investors like Crystal Venture Partners, Everywhere Ventures, Knight Ventures, Kindergarten Ventures, Jetstream Venture Fund, and Draft Ventures.
Disasters aren’t rare events anymore. They’re part of life. Each year, employers and local governments face the same challenge: supporting new groups of employees and residents through recovery, with limited tools and mounting complexity. Survivors end up navigating a maze of insurance, FEMA, contractors, and aid programs largely on their own.
We provide the disaster operating system that works with enterprises and governments to support communities before, during, and after disaster strikes. Our platform puts the survivor journey at the center, combining expertise, trusted vendors, and AI-powered tools to make recovery faster and less overwhelming. On the backend, we offer the insights governments and employers need to help support their people every step of the way.
With this new capital, we’re focused on:
Expanding our work with enterprises to ensure employees can get back on their feet faster
Partnering with governments to strengthen community-wide recovery and resilience
Scaling the tools and services that empower survivors to navigate every stage of the recovery process
Disasters will keep coming, but recovery doesn’t have to be this hard. With the right operating system, communities can bounce back stronger.
We’re deeply grateful to our investors, partners, and the survivors who remind us every day why this work matters. It’s an honor to help survivors find their way home.
