Jonathan brings to bear more than 20 years of operational experience as a principal of top-25 national insurance brokerage firm, Crystal & Company. Jonathan served as the firm’s CFO and was responsible for the firm’s field and general operations prior to leading the firm through its acquisition by Alliant Insurance Services in 2018.

Stephen McGovern has dedicated his career to investing and advising early-stage Insurance & Technology businesses. Over the last decade, Stephen has helped founders and executive teams to navigate capital markets, build scalable operations and execute high-growth corporate strategies to drive shareholder returns.
Prior to joining Crystal Venture Partners, Stephen was part of the founding team at Eos Venture Partners. At Eos, Stephen oversaw deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio company improvement for several Eos Investments in North America and Europe. In addition, Stephen served on the board of Eos investments, Players Health and Elpha Secure.
